We wanted to try a different restaurant when we were in Tagaytay last March so I looked for a promising restaurant online and came across Marcia Adams’ Little Tuscany. I’ve read good reviews about this place. And by the time I was finished, I got excited in trying it out for the first time.
I’m glad we did because all of us, my Mom, sister, the Hubby and even the kids loved the place so much.

It was a place that we will keep on visiting in the next few years. We had our reservations a few days before our lunch, good thing there was still a table available for us. Note that they will only serve food if you have reservations.
We loved the food. Although it was a bit expensive, it was worth it (just by thinking about it makes me want to go back there now and eat!). You have to pay PHP700 per person but this one is consumable. I noticed that most of their main courses are PHP 700 – PHP750 anyway and it already includes appetizer, main course, dessert and a drink. Not bad at all!

Bundaberg “Peachee” brewed peach, slightly sparkling, from Australia (P85). After the first sip, we instantly fell in love with this drink. Bundaberg Ginger Beer from Australia (P85). Hubby’s drink which he also liked.

Amalfi Prawns. It was gooood. So tasty and unforgettable.

Galician Soup, a Spanish broth with ham, kidney and fava beans, lettuce potatoes, very good for my taste and I would order this again if ever we eat there again
For the main course, we ordered the following:
- Hubby had Italian Porkchop which was a little bit dry but full of spices
- I had Ai Funghi – Pasta with fresh mushrooms, basil and garlic which was very good and tasty
- Grilled Aromatic Pork for my sister which everyone loved
- My Mom had fish kebabs which she also loved and commented that it was fresh. That’s a compliment indeed since my Mom is very particular with fishes
You might noticed that we didn’t have pictures of the main courses because we were too excited to eat by the time it was served, that we forgot to take pictures.
For dessert we had,

Fried Banana with Dark Chocolate Dip – YUM!

Grilled Orange with Vanilla Orange
We also had Panna Cota with Lemon Jelly and another dessert with banana which I can’t remember the name nor the taste. Oh well.
The place was homey and quiet. We love, love it. I highly recommend it! Make sure to make a reservation before going and allow 30 to 45 minutes to wait for the food to be served.
On our way out, we got to talk to Mr. Adams and told us that they were planning on putting a Bed & Breakfast in the next few years. I would love that! I hope they push through with that plan.
