I Miss Clubbing

I had a relaxed weekend but I can’t help but missed the good old days when I used to go to clubs. My friends and I would hop from one bar to another. We would drink as much as we can handle. Of course, we can’t go home after that since we were too drunk, so we had to stay at my friend’s house until morning.

Those were the days when we were so young and carefree! I miss those days. There was a time when we would go to a club to listen to a few DJ’s with their Mackie dj mixers. Parties would never be complete without mobiles too. I remember during my 18th birthday, we would dance the whole night, thanks to the mixers, the songs were not boring at all. I remember we danced until the wee hours in the morning. I think it was one of the best days of my teenage years.

Now that I have two kids, I still appreciate music, but this time, we would dance at the songs of Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez. No more DJ mixers, but still, we managed to have fun! (*wink*)

6th Christmas Party at Strumm’s

I already mentioned that we got a lot of Christmas parties last 2011 and one of the memorable parties we had was at Strumm’s, Makati.

s

We started at 5PM which was a good thing because the traffic was not too bad considering it was a few days away from Christmas. The food was just ok though. And the band that the company hired was late! But still, we had fun.

A Little Heaven for the Little Girls

My girls had a playdate last month at Funranch Ortigas. And they all had so much fun!

I LOVE how safe the place was. We just left our kids at the play area while the Moms talked. We even managed to go out and ate snacks. It was a fun afternoon!

Here are more details about Funranch.

Our T.G.I. Friday’s Dinner.

I love TGIF. Ever since College, I would love to eat here all the time but it’s expensive to dine here all the time so I just save this for special occassions.

Since January 30th was our anniversary and Hubby and I didn’t get to spend some time alone when we were in Hongkong, we decided to have dinner at TGIF. The food here is always good, plus, he would love to watch TV with their plasma tvs at the restaurant. Although I had to admit, it would hard to watch since you will be focused on the food and the conversation that usually happens only when the kids are not around.

I wanted to drink that night so I ordered a Classic Mojito.

We had Fried Mozarella as appetizers. It was delicious!

After having the fried mozarella, we had Sizzling Chicken and Shrimp

AND, Jack Daniel’s Ribs and Shrimp.

IMG_0080
Their full rack of Cajun spiced baby back pork ribs ia fried grilled and glazed with their Jack Daniel’s sauce, added with their handful butterflied shrimp, battered and fried until crisp and served with crispy fries.

The baby back ribs were a bit dry and bland according to Hubby. He didn’t like it that much.

The Jack Sizzling Chicken and Shrimp were to die for! It was served with cheddar cheese, which I loved so much!

We were too full to have dessert so we just finished our drinks then called it a night.

T.G.I. Friday’s definitely still one of my favorites!

Our Sonya’s Signature Massage

Sonya’s Signature Massage

Discover the secrets of total body bliss with Sonya’s favorite strokes in a intensely soothing full body massage. If it’s your first time here, we highly recommend this to you.

Aaaaah. I can still feel the strokes up to now. Sonya’s Signature Massage was the best so far. It was only an hour but it felt like I was massaged for hours! The strokes were very different from Shiatsu or Swedish massage that I had before. I highly recommend this one when you go to Tagaytay.

Sonya’s Garden is a bit far though. It is located almost in Batangas already. Yes that far! But the place is heavenly. The food is great too.

If ever we are going to Tagaytay again, I will definitely have their Signature Massage again. Maybe this time, right after breakfast. :)

PartyPicsLive!

A couple of weekends ago we attended Dom’s first birthday party. Dom is the cute baby girl of my online (and now offline) friend Peachy. One of the booths at the party was PartyPicsLive! Check out our photos taken at the booth.

I loved how our photos turned out.

How I wish I had more budget so I could get this booth for AA’s party too. But who knows, maybe in her next birthdays.

I highly recommend this for those who are planning to have a birthday party. When you get this, the photographers won’t need to take photos per table anymore. Right!?

The Art of Fireworks and Music.

pyro

I must admit, The World Pyro Olympics have been in Manila for several years now and I haven’t really been to any of it. I know, I’m missing half of my life for not watching. But I haven’t really gotten a hold of the schedule. Not until today. Thanks to Litzie, I got this schedule. I got too excited that I want to share it here too!

I love The Fort so much. It is definitely our favorite hang out, with kids or without kids. We just love going to this place. And they are now hosting Pyro Olympics this year. Is it their first time? I’m not really sure but I think it’s going to be fun!

Are you going!?

On Horse Supplies

_mg_3453

This is my Hubby during our little girl’s second birthday in the province. It was one year ago and our party theme was safari/jungle. That’s the reason why my Dad hired a horse for the guests to enjoy. It was just around 3 hours so we didn’t have to buy some horse supplies for the horses to consume like food. Equipment are also part of the package so that was a good thing!

But if in case we needed horse supplies and more, I could have bought these stuff from JefferSequine.com. They have everything there from disposable fly trap to super mask, you can buy all of those in that website. If you love horses, you should check it out!

And as for our little girl’s second birthday – it was definitely a blast!

A Refreshing Start at The Spa

After the unforgettable experience at Nurture Spa, I realized that I wanted more. More massage, more facial massage, and more foot spa. So, after a few weeks, I went back this time to The Spa with my sister and Mom to have another day of pampering.

We availed of the following package:

Refreshing Start Package
Aromafacial Massage
Choice of Foot Therapy
(Peppermint Foot Rub, Oriental Foot Therapy or Thai Foot Massage)
Choice of Deluxe Body Massage
(Swedish, Shiatsu, or Deep Tissue)

It was my sister’s birthday and it was their Christmas gift for me. It was perfect timing.

We went at the Fort (High Street) branch last Sunday. I was amazed at how the place was designed. I loved it! It was modern/zen type of design. The only thing I didn’t like about the branch is that it was too small. They only have four bathrooms and one big jacuzzi. The wet spa/sauna was small too.

But when we checked out their villas, they were really nice and I realized that they were catering a different market.

Take note that you need to have reservations before going there to make sure that you will be accommodated. Hopefully I would be able to bring Hubby here one of these days.
