Need to Hide those Cable Wires?

I’m not part of the network group but I’ve always wanted to suggest hiding those cable wires in the office. It looks messy, in my opinion, so I looked for a way to hide those and I came across flex tubing. This is a way to protect your cables and hide it through the use of tubes. There are Colored Split Wire Looms or Flex Tubes in different colors. I like those! These Wire looms are an effective and inexpensive way to provide order and protection to cables around any home and office. You can use this whether it is under a workstation or integrated in a home theater set-up. The nice thing about it is that it is highly flexible and can be use anywhere! With this I can get a sleek, finished appearance in my office by concealing unsightly wires. I’m definitely getting those soon!

To Pursue Further Studies Or Get a Second Degree?

That’s what I’ve been thinking about for months now. I have finished my Masters degree in Information Management and I’m thinking if I pursue it to Doctorate or get a second degree like an online nursing degree. If I pursue IT, it would be easier since I’m with the industry for years now. I know the ins and outs of IT. But I would get bored for sure thinking that I’ve been in the same field for years now. If I get the second degree like nursing it would be a whole new thing for me. I would start from scratch learning the basics. It would be fun though. Knowing that nursing is a degree that is the in thing these days. I will have to think about it twice. Because I’m pretty sure that it would take a lot of time and effort from my part.

Facebook.

Aside from twitter, I’m now hooked with Facebook or FB.

I didn’t have plans of signing up because I already have Friendster, MySpace, Webshots, and three blogs. I thought that I was too busy to maintain more accounts but I keep on hearing FB from Hubby that finally I was convinced.

I have no regrets whatsoever because I’m really having fun. I found a lot of long lost friends and relatives there. If not for FB, I wouldn’t be able to contact them anymore. There are also ads that are interesting like office chairs and equipment, hair loss treatment, real estate and more. I became a fan of Edward Cullen, Bukidnon, Twilight, and Royce Chocolates.

Some friends are having fun playing games. I love it!

Twitter.

I heard about twitter last year but I didn’t sign up because I know that I would get really attached to it that I would get distracted. Then I won’t be able to focus on my work and assignments. You see, there are assignments that need a lot of time. Unlike doing some reading on door hardware which is quite simple because we already had ideas about some house details a couple of years back.

Anyway, I finally signed up to twitter last Saturday and as expected, I’m hooked! I can’t get off the site and I can’t focus to more important stuff. I can’t even talk to the people in the house anymore. LOL!

So now, I will have to promise myself that everyday (especially if it’s a work day), I will have to finish everything before I log in to twitter.

Good luck to me!

Confused.

That’s what I feel right now ever since I decided to change the theme of this blog. I have been researching all over about the Top Wordpress Themes but I still couldn’t decide which one to use. All of the themes out there are very nice!

My research started on trying to find what themes mean. Before I started my blogs, I have no idea what these themes are. It basically controls the appearance and the presentation of the wordpress website on the internet. When I tried one theme, I was hooked!

Another thing is that it’s free and so easy to use. It is a good thing that every wordpress blog requires a theme. If not, I would still use one for all of my blogs.

My PLDT DSL

…has gone worst. First it was our landline which got disconnected just like that. And then now it’s our DSL that keeps on disconnecting every 10 to 15 minutes! I hate it! It’s like we’re paying for nothing. You see, I depend on the internet so much like for work, blogging, surfing, chatting with friends and family that I can’t afford to not have an internet just for one day! I even need to do some research on DNA testing for a friend but for now, I guess it has to wait.

Take note, we called PLDT support thrice already.

SO now, we’re thinking of switching to GLOBE. I hope it works well before the holidays start!

Need an Upgrade.

I asked my sister to download a few of my favorite shows like Grey’s Anatomy and Heroes. With this, I realized that I need to upgrade my computer memory. I have so much files already which include photos, digital scrapbooks, videos, movies, and more. I can’t just give up all these files at the same time so I think upgrading my memory would be the best option.

I have a few computer stores that I’m eyeing. I just hope I can get really good deals especially this Christmas season.

In Need of Computer Parts

My cousin from the States is planning of putting up an internet cafe in the province. The last time we talked to him he needed lots of computer parts. We suggested on getting it at Gilmore or Greenhills so it is cheaper.

I also suggested he read lots of books and articles about setting up a computer. He can get these details online. And it’s free too!

Just like Easy as my PC offers these information. And they also offer PC kits too. From computer cases, monitors, hard disks, CPUs, memories, and fans. They all have these in their website.

They have tree types of kits – Basic, Business and Gaming PC kits. Gaming PC Kits is their fastest, most advanced DIY PC kits, perfect for serious gaming or graphic design computers.Business PC Kits are designed to handle heavy computer computations, graphics tools and fast multi-tasking. Lastly, the Basic PC Kits are ideal for home uses like PC photo sharing, internet, word processing or finances.

I would highly recommend online shopping these days because there are people who are too busy to go out and shop. And online shopping is the most convenient thing that ever happened in my shopping “history”. In shopping for computer parts, just make sure that you know what you’re buying and make sure that it is of good quality.
