Quick Family Dinner at Chilli’s

Chilli’s would always be our favorite restaurant. Aside from the fact that our comfort food were served there, we also love the new offerings every now and then. When we were at Greenbelt, we decided to have a quick dinner with the kids at Chilli’s.

We didn’t order much, only our favorite meals…

Clam Chowder. The little girls surprisingly love this soup. They finished the whole bowl in a few minutes! I guess it was good.

IMG_8686

Baby Back Ribs + Chicken and Rice. The ribs were still tender and the chicken was tasty. It’s a must to order this if you are dining at Chilli’s.

Chicken Fajitas. Our all time favorite at Chilli’s. I was craving for this for months so we made sure that we ordered it.

We love, love Chilli’s. We’ll definitely go back again if we crave for those yummy fajitas. Soon.

Impromptu Family Dinner Date at Crazy Katsu

I’ve heard a lot of good reviews about Crazy Katsu, so when we were at the area one weekend, we decided to try it out. We went with the kids and they were excited to try it too.

Since I was excited to try their Katsu, I was disappointed when I learned that their chicken katsu was spicy!

IMG_8243

Too bad the kids weren’t able to try it. But they enjoyed the bowl of sukiyaki as they fondly called it “the sweet soup”.

IMG_8245

There were not much options at their menu. Hopefully they get to add more soon!

Craving for Greek Cuisine? Go Greek!

Usually when we are in Food Choices Glorietta, with all those options available, choosing which one to eat for lunch or dinner is harder. But that particular day, we were all drawn to this one restaurant that is offering Greek cuisine. The prices were not too expensive either so we went for it and tried it for the first time.

IMG_6944

I got the chicken kebab platter which was served with side salad and Greek rice. For PHP195, the serving was so huge I had to share it with my Hubby.

IMG_6969

It was a great choice and we all love the food. So if you are craving for a greek cuisine, go Greek!

2012 Family Trip to Vietnam: Barbecue Garden for Dinner

For our last dinner in Ho Chi Minh, we decided to make it special and try Barbecue Garden.

IMG_5020

We passed by this restaurant for quite a number of times so we were all curious. It’s also loaded with a lot of people so we assumed that they serve good food!

IMG_5003

Everything we assumed were right. They serve good food and we love the ambiance that it offered. Although we found it hot, but we enjoyed our last dinner in Ho Chi Minh.

IMG_5015

We had the meal set which includes seafood, beef and pork to cook in our table. On the side we had salad, noodles and rice.

IMG_5014

IMG_5015

Everyone left the restaurant with happy tummies! We love this restaurant and I highly recommend it.

If you are going with kids, make sure that you ask which food are spicy and which ones are not. Their mild spicy is too spicy for us!

2012 Family Trip to Vietnam: First Dinner in Hanoi at Mama Rosa

After settling down at An Hung Hotel, we went out to check out the shops and what the Old District has in store for us! I was so excited because like Ho Chi Minh’s Ben Thanh Market, everything is there, available for us to buy. The shopaholics are definitely excited! (*wink*)

After an exciting day of shopping, we ended the day with an Italian dinner at Mama Rossa. Since we’ve been eating Vietnamese food for the past 4 days already, it was a welcome change. And we all miss the pizza and pasta already!

IMG_9836 IMG_9837

Soup to start off the meal. Perfect for the cold weather! Temperature has gone down by night time so this soup was a delight to our hungry tummies.

IMG_9839

Pasta was great for the kids and kid at heart. (*wink*)

Tasty thin crust pizza were the highlight of our dinner.

Not in photo are the baby back ribs and the sirloin steak that we devoured in I think, 5 minutes. LOL! Oh, it was a great dinner! We all had full tummies when we went back to the hotel. ♥

Good and Healthy Food from Pho hoa

Pho hoa has now been part of our favorite restaurants ever since my little girls tried their seafood noodle soup. My girls love noodles so much and Pho hoa’s is now their most favorite among all the restaurants that we’ve been to.

And mine too! I also like their fresh spring roll which tastes really fresh and tasty too!

And the BBQ rice as our staple food in Pho Hoa.

I wish we could back there one of these days. I highly recommend that you try it too!

All-Day Breakfast at Milky & Sunny

One Saturday we were in Kapitolyo area to do errands and decided to have breakfast at Milky & Sunny. I’ve read that food is good here, so we tried it!

IMG_7759

The moment we entered the restaurant, I immediately felt at home. The wall decors were really cute and homey.

IMG_7762

IMG_7763

And not only the wall decors were nice, the food was very good too!

I had skinless longganiza that comes with fried rice and egg…

IMG_7766

…which was really tasty. I love that this one is not oily too. Hubby on the other hand, had his favorite beef tapa.

And just like me, he also loooove it. Will definitely go back and this time, we will bring the kids!

Our Sumptuous Lunch at Gloria Maris

One weekend in August, we were invited by our relatives to have lunch at Gloria Maris, CCP. It was my first time so I was really excited having heard good reviews about this resto.

IMG_6863

We just let our relatives do the ordering and I think they ordered the package for the entire table. Everything was sumptuous!

Quick Dinner with Relatives at Masas

A couple of months ago, we had relatives here from LA who wanted to eat Filipino food. Since they were able to try Mesa already, I suggested that we try Masas too.

IMG_6830

I’m so glad I suggested it, because they all love everything about Masas.

IMG_6831 IMG_6829

Since most of our relatives were health-conscious, we ordered mostly their vegetables – pinakbet, kangkong, bangus sinigang, crispy pata for the younger ones and salad.

Isn’t it obvious in our faces? We all love MASAS!

Loving Filipino Food Fusion at Mesa

The first time we tried Mesa a couple of months ago, we instantly fell in love with the food.

mesa

Most of the food at Mesa are Filipino food with a twist so yes, it is quite different that’s why we loved it to bits.

For appetizer, we had Sisig in a Pouch. I love the twist of this food. It wasn’t an ordinary sizzling sisig. I also love the pinakurat vinegar that comes with it.

sisig salad

For salad, we had Pomelo Salad with Latik. Again, this one is different because of the Latik that comes with the salad. Very tasty and delicious.

For the rest of our orders we had, baby squid in olive oil which was an unforgettable dish that I would love to order again next time we will be in Mesa. We had bagoong rice which includes thinly sliced mango.

I highly recommend that you try MESA too! ♥
