What is your Beauty Secret?

Every woman has her own beauty secret. Some would have a beauty regime that they do everyday, some would just settle for the once-a-week treatments. I heard women who have facial at least once a week. Nope, I’m not kidding. They really do that. But most of the advises that I’d get is to have a facial at least once a month.

Have you heard of the saying, “There are no ugly women, only lazy ones…”?

I guess it’s very true. I’m guilty of being lazy when it comes to my face and skin so I vowed to take care of it from now on. A little investment in ourselves would come a long way. Now I wonder what would be the effects on me if I try those eyelash growth products!? Hmmm, it looks really interesting! Will read more about it and see if I could pull it off.

Keeping My Face Clean While Traveling

I guess that was one of the most challenging thing I did over the holidays while we were traveling as a family. I kept my face clean while in Singapore. Good thing Singapore was so clean, I didn’t have to worry every now and then. I also brought a couple of the best acne products with me to make sure that when I get one, I would know what to do. I didn’t want to spend a day or two looking for my favorite acne treatment lotions! So with that, I was confident. The other things that I made sure I did are the following…

- Wash my face before sleeping
- Didn’t wear too much makeup
- Put on moisturizer
- Used a makeup remover

I was happy when I get home. With my previous travels, I would acnes. This time, I was acne free for 8 whole days!

Time to Take Care of my Face.

Well, not me particularly but my Derma will have to take care of my face soon. Since it’s going to be busy in the next few weeks, I will set a date to have a blackheads removal on my face. My budget is set for other stuff but I have to prioritize this since I haven’t had this process for months now. Or maybe even years? I can’t even remember when was the last time I went to my Derma. My Bad! So now, I will have to make sure that I make an appointment for this and prioritize myself for a change.

What do you do when you have Acne while Traveling?

This is actually a common problem to girls, especially to girls who have raging hormones. Acnes that won’t go away you can’t do anything about especially when travelling. When you are just at home you can put your usual acne treatment and go to your favorite dermatologist. But when you are out of town or even out of the country, this would be a H.U.G.E. problem, isn’t it? I guess the best way would be to just let it be. Because if we try to put medicines while travelling it might grow more and develop an infection. For me, the best way would be to keep your face clean at all times. Wash your face before sleeping and when you get out of the bed. And make sure you don’t touch it all the time while on tour. And then once you get home, apply your usual medicines.

My MOM in Paris.

Yes in a few hours my Mom will be in Europe – my dream destination!

Now, I’m so green with ENVY! This is her ultimate dream actually. To be able to travel in Europe. We chatted everyday before her flight. You see, she is now living in the US and the only communication we have now is through chat and emails. I asked her if she has already packed everything. I reminder her to bring clothes for winter. Who knows, maybe it might get cold there. I also asked if she brought her adult acne treatment since it would be a change of weather, her skin will probably break. These are the things that we wouldn’t know will happen so it’s best to just bring it with us. I know that this is the last thing that we would remember when we travel, so I’m glad I was able to remind my Mom to bring her beauty regimen.

While I was at my hometown, my Dad forced me to try this soap…

He is currently selling it. It’s very different from msm glucosamine cream because it is natural and no chemicals added. It stings though when I try to leave the soap in my face for a few minutes but according to my Dad, it is very natural. So I’m trying it out for a few weeks and see if it would fit me and my skin.
