Filipino and Asian Cuisine at Amadeo Restaurant

I wouldn’t say it has been a tradition to have lunch or dinner at Amadeo Restaurant, since it just recently opened (probably a few years ago). But all I can say is that every time I’m home, I would always make sure that we dine here.

It has become a favorite of mine. With all the choices from Filipino and Asian cuisine to steaks, salads, pasta and more. Every meal at Amadeo is always sumptuous. I highly recommend this restaurant. If you are in Malaybalay City, this is the capital of Bukidnon, make sure that you have a meal or two (or even more) at Amadeo Restaurant.

Our Trip to Cagayan de Oro/Malaybalay last June

Our most recent family getaway was last June when we went to Cagayan de Oro (CDO) / Malaybalay City.

We went home to my hometown to attend my cousin’s wedding which is also a grand reunion of my relatives from my Dad side. We made sure that it won’t be a boring trip by enlisting in the advance course of white water rafting on our first day! It was indeed an adventure! Unfortunately we weren’t able to take photos for souvenirs but a short video of us was taken (check it out here).

After our great adventure, we immediately went to our favorite JT’s Manukan to have lunch and then shop at the MNG outlet. After that, we travelled again for another hour and 15minutes to go straight to Malaybalay City. Yummy dinner was prepared by my Aunt.

The next day we just relaxed for the day to prepare for the wedding the next day.

It was a relaxing and fun vacation with Hubby and the kids. All of us had so much fun and we hope we could schedule again a trip there soon.

Nope, not in Japan.

But I was hoping I was in Japan here…

LOL! That was taken along the road to Cagayan de Oro from Malaybalay City. It was taken last April, 2010. We went to my home town to celebrate my cousin’s wedding. My little girl was a flower girl. As always, the trip was fun-filled, lots of food, and parties! I always love to go back to my hometown. When I’m there I can’t help but remember my good old childhood days. And now, I’m getting excited for another trip there in a few weeks.
