Missed the Casino in Macau Last 2007

Venetian Hotel

We went to Macau with my family last December, 2007. And my only regret is not being able to try the casinos. We brought my little girl then and she was not even 2. So she wasn’t allowed inside the casinos. Besides, we were too tired to even miss a couple of sleeping hours. We were there a couple of days but I don’t know why, we didn’t even bother to check it out. Probably because all of us were not into casinos?

But surprisingly, I stumbled across an online casino site and explored it for a couple of minutes. When I saw those Monopoly Slots and Cleopatra Slots online, it looks like I’m going to enjoy it! I love the idea that I don’t have to dress up to go to a casino. I can just play whenever I want. I don’t have to pay for food and drinks, which usually takes up the budget when I go to a regular casino. And the best part is, I can play while I spend time with my family, since I’m just online. The convenience of playing games online convinced me to play. This is a good thing since I’m not a “gamer” ever since.

I have yet to check Wheel of Fortune Slots. Looks promising! My friends are recommending it. They’ve been to casinos and had enjoyed these slots. I hope I find the opportunity to try it too. When I go back to Macau, will I try the casinos? I think I will! Now that I’m enjoying online casinos, I think I will enjoy the real casino too. But for now, I will stay home, enjoy the most of what I got. Good thing my internet connection is fast that it’s like I’m playing the real thing. I never thought I’d say this, but I’m so loving it!

Dahilayan Adventure Park in Bukidnon

After our breakfast in CDO, we visited a couple of relatives and then off we went to Dahilayan Adventure Park in Bukidnon. It was a long trip. It took us almost 2 hours. We arrived there just in time for lunch at Cowboy Grill Restaurant.

We were hungry so we ordered immediately (Pork Steak, T-Bone Steak, Salisbury Steak, Chicken Fillet, Porterhouse Steak, and Ostrich). We ate everything in less than 15 minutes. The food was good! We just settled down for around 15 minutes, took a few photos, and then off we went to the zipzone.

It was a ride of the lifetime! It is Asia’s longest dual zipline. From a launch point it’s 4,700 feet above sea level. With speeds of up to 90 kph, you will zoom through lush greenery and breathtaking views only found in the mountains of Dahilayan. Best of all, it’s guaranteed safe even for 2 yr old and 77 yr olds! (*grin*)

There you go. That’s me! Trying not to look down. But I can’t help it! I tried closing my eyes, but I was thinking I would miss the beautiful scenery. So I made the most out of it and I’m so I glad I did.

After the ride, I still can’t believe I did it! But will I ever do it again? I honestly don’t know. LOL!

Time to Take Care of my Face.

Well, not me particularly but my Derma will have to take care of my face soon. Since it’s going to be busy in the next few weeks, I will set a date to have a blackheads removal on my face. My budget is set for other stuff but I have to prioritize this since I haven’t had this process for months now. Or maybe even years? I can’t even remember when was the last time I went to my Derma. My Bad! So now, I will have to make sure that I make an appointment for this and prioritize myself for a change.

Our Flight to Cagayan De Oro City (11.19.2010)

Our flight to CDO was early. It was around 610AM. So we had to wake up at 3AM to prepare. But everyone was so excited that we didn’t care anymore. We were so looking forward to the trip! There was no traffic, as expected since we left the house at 4AM. The kids were wide awake! I was expecting to carry sleeping babies, but no, they woke up when we were changing their clothes.

Although I had to bring my own best wrinkle treatment because my eyebags got bigger for sleeping only for 4 hours! I’m glad I had time to pack it and use it during the trip.

Both girls were very excited especially A who knew about Malaybalay already. This trip is her 3rd trip to Malaybalay. They fell asleep once the plane took off. I was able to sleep too! Thank God! The flight was a breeze (another thank God!). Considering our last trip was bumped off to Cebu, this time, we landed 10minutes early.

Headache while Traveling, Aaargh!

Having a headache while traveling is an ultimate hassle. I experienced that last weekend when we were away on a trip. I wanted an immediate migraine headache treatment but I couldn’t find one. That is why, when I found out about MigraineTreatment.org, I was so happy! The headache almost ruined the trip. We were out of town to enjoy the scenery and enjoy each other’s company (with family and friends), but that won’t be possible anymore if I had the annoying migraine. I think it must be the plane ride plus the 2-hour road trip. But still, I didn’t have this when I was younger. Is it because I’m getting older? I hope not! Ugh!

November 29, 2010 is Declared a Holiday

I was ecstatic when I heard that PNoy declared November 29, 2010 as a National Holiday. Here are more details from AbsCbnNews.com…

MANILA, Philippines (UPDATE) – Malacañang has declared November 29, Monday, a regular nonworking holiday in celebration of Bonifacio Day, a radio dzMM report said.

It is the second holiday declared by Malacañang this month and the first to follow former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo’s policy of holiday economics, which allows the President to move non-religious holidays to the nearest Monday. Bonifacio Day actually falls on November 30, a Tuesday.

In a press briefing, Presidential Communications Secretary Ricky Carandang said Malacañang will be more systematic in declaring holidays. He admitted that some people are confused with the Aquino administration’s policy on holidays since President Benigno Aquino III had said that he would not follow his predecessor’s policy on holiday economics.

Socioeconomic Planning Secretary Cayetano Paderanga, meanwhile, said holiday economics is good for domestic tourism as it allows workers to travel during long weekends.

He said businessmen want a fixed number of holidays every year and that the list of holidays be announced early.

The Palace earlier declared November 16, Tuesday, a National Holiday in celebration of the Islamic religious holiday Eid’l Adha.

Christmas is in the Air!

Well, in Manila that is. It even started on the very first day of September. That’s what I love about September. The spirit of Christmas starts early. Now that it’s a few more weeks before Christmas, I’m finishing off a couple of tasks, errands, and Christmas shopping. Good thing, I’m almost done since I’ve started early. I want every to-do’s will be finished in a few weeks so I could relax. I just wish I can go to a secluded place, away from the Christmas rush and enjoy the cabin beds for days. But I don’t think I can do that considering we have a big trip coming. Well, who knows maybe there are a couple of long weekends before the Christmas season officially starts.
