Thinking of Putting up a Business in Manila

Nowadays, since it’s tough to deal with our daily expenses and bills, I’m thinking of putting up a business. There are a lot of options but it’s hard to think which one would last. Especially in Manila where people would love to try new things everyday.

It has to be something that people will like for years. If it is retail, which I’ve tried in the province, I’m sure I will get the point of purchase display I saw online. It looks durable and of good quality. I sold small items for tweens and teens. And these store fixtures would have been nice in our store.

But it didn’t work out in the province unfortunately. Now I wonder if it will work out here in the city. Will have to do research about it, make a business proposal and see if it will. Well, I hope so!

I Want to go to the Beach!

It’s been 3 months now since my family and I went to the beach. Now, I’m badly missing it!

IMG_9041

You see, we LOVE the beach so much and we won’t mind if we have time to go there at least once a month. The kids would be ecstatic! I just love the hearing the sounds of the wave, the feel of the sand on my skin and the water too!

Obviously, we are the beach lovers! ♥♥♥

Revisiting Cyma

Cyma has been our all time favorite early this year. But after eating twice or thrice in one month, we decided to leave it for a few months. When we couldn’t decide where to eat one weekday, we decided to revisit Cyma.

IMG_2003

We were early for dinner so the restaurant was almost empty. We enjoyed our dinner so much. We had our usual favorite, Roka Salata, Saganaki and Chicken Kebab.

The service was excellent! We would hear the servers shout, “Opa!”. It looks like they were having fun. It made me think of trying out this job too. Now I’m looking at a couple of Food Server Jobs, who knows I might be able to pull it off as my part time. If only I have lots of time to spare, I would definitely try it out. Because it’s not something new for me since I worked in a fast food chain when I was in College.

I’m really glad we revisited CYMA after all those months. The food was still great, the service and the ambiance was perfect for our impromptu date.

I would definitely highly recommend it! (*wink*)

Reminiscing on my Camping Trips.

The Christmas holidays has officially started in my side of the world. What are your plans for the holidays? Are you planning on going on a camping trip soon?

I remember my first camping trip when I was in grade school. It was just simple but I was so excited because I was staying in the school for a night with my classmates. I was in the 5th grade then and we had a couple of activities that made it more fun.

Another memorable camping trip was in the province with my cousins. We spent the night in the tent. We cooked our own food and we had a lot of stories before going to bed. It was fun!

I was also able to experience a “real” camping trip in Minnesota. I was invited by my colleagues to spend the night in the tent. We swam the next day and had the time of our lives.

Mich

Based on my experiences in camping trips, it would be best to bring complete gears to make it more enjoyable! Consider the weather, if it is hot or cold. I found a couple of nice tents and gears from Deals Direct that would be really useful for an enjoyable camping trip. IF you are indeed planning to have one, make sure you bring all the stuff that you need and don’t forget to have fun! (*wink*)

Good Mexican Food and Drinks at Jalapeño

I got two vouchers for Jalapeño a couple of months ago. When Hubby and I went out on a date, we decided to avail it. Jalapeño is located near Ortigas Home Depot.

It was FRIDAY so we had drinks! (*grin*)

We also ordered food of course, so we had, chips & salsa, quesadilla and soft tacos.

The food was good and so was the service. But the place was really small. We chose the table outside. But if you plan to binge Mexican food and drink margarita, Jalapeño is the perfect choice!

Looking for the Perfect Mother of the Bride Outfits?

My Hubby and I have been married for almost 7 years now. But I can still clearly remember our wedding day. It was one of the unforgettable days we ever had as a couple. What is nice about that day was that, everyone especially our family was there to celebrate with us! This is actually what made it more memorable.

Of course there were glitches too. Like my Mom who took her time before having her dress made. During that time, she waited for months before checking mother of the bride outfits. Finally after a month, she finally decided to have it made already. I know, 1 month! I was already getting nervous by the time she told me she doesn’t have a dress yet! Who wouldn’t? A month before the wedding is supposed to be the relaxing days already. Days for parties, bridal showers and get togethers. But no, my Mom waited for that before her dress made.

If I saw Gray & Osbourn, I wouldn’t be nervous as I was before. The selections for the mother of the bride are so nice. If I were to get married again, I would tell my Mom to check the site because Gray & Osbourn has mother of the bride outfits to suite any figure for that perfect day. I’m sure my Mom will love it too!

It’s ChaTime!

Have you tried ChaTime? We did a couple of weeks ago.

IMG_1628

I had the roasted milk tea while Hubby had Hawaiian Fruit Tea.

IMG_1630

I found my drink just ok. Since the pearls were not included in the drink, I forgot to order that’s why I found my drink bland and the milk taste was stronger than the tea. Hubby on the other hand, found his drink very good.

Will give this another try one of these days.

My girls had a playdate last month at Funranch Ortigas. And they all had so much fun!

I LOVE how safe the place was. We just left our kids at the play area while the Moms talked. We even managed to go out and ate snacks. It was a fun afternoon!
