2011 Year in Review – October

The highlight of our October – our trip to Tagaytay without the kids. We had brunch at Antonio’s.

We checked in at T House, had dinner there and breakfast the next day.

After we checked out T House, we went straight to Nuvali and had lunch at Pig Out. We had a good lunch!

We were so happy we were able to get away even for just 2 days. After being so busy for months, it was nice to relax and enjoy the chilly weather of Tagaytay.

2011 Year in Review – September

I was surprised when I realized that we didn’t go somewhere for the month of September. We would usually go out of town because September is my birthday month! But this time I decided to celebrate my birthday at Prince Albert for dinner.

I felt very special that night. Prince Albert gave us an impeccable service! And of course, because the most important persons in my life were there too.

2011 Year in Review – August

August, 2011 was very memorable month for us because my family and I went to Cebu and stayed at Shangrila Mactan together with our friends!

It was a 3D/2N stay but we did a lot of things in the resort that it felt like we were there for a week. The kids had a great time at the adventure zone, Mommies were able to enjoy the “happy hour”, Daddies were able to play basketball in the pool and we were able to eat at Acqua, Tea of Spring and The Tides.

We love, love this trip to Cebu! Looking forward to another trip hopefully next year. (*wink*)

2011 Year in Review – July

July is a special month for us because it’s Hubby’s birthday month! We didn’t go out of town though because we were saving up for another trip, but we redeemed a voucher from Holiday Inn and stayed there for the night.

2011 Year in Review – June

We bade goodbye to summer by going home to Bukidnon to celebrate my cousin’s wedding! Before we went home, we dropped by Cagayan De Oro to try the White Water Rafting (advance course). It was an adventure we will never forget.

2011 Year in Review – April

Another month to remember is the month of April because we went to Boracay as a family! The kids’ first time on the island but I would say, definitely not our last. They both loved the sand, the crystal clear water, and the food. It was a fun vacation!

ALMOST Done with Christmas Shopping Except for our Printer’s Ink

All along I thought I was done with Christmas shopping. But I was wrong. For some reason something came up that we needed to go to the mall today. It was a bad idea! There were so many people at the mall today. Kids were crying and got lost in the crowd. The lines at the cashier were so long. It was tiring! Lesson learned, I will never go to the mall when it’s 3 days before Christmas.

The reason why we went? We needed to buy an ink for our printer. I wished we did this last week when we were relaxed and not panicking when it’s just 3 days before Christmas. The thing is, we needed it badly for our next trip. We need to print our tickets! It’s a good thing though because we also saw a receipt printer earlier. We’ve been looking for this for months! And because of our trip to the mall earlier, we found a couple of nice printers. But when we thought about it, the receipt printers from POS Micro are way better so we might just get those online. We’ll have to think about it and then decide after the holidays.

How about you? Are you done with your Christmas shopping?
