2011 Year in Review – December
I would say in terms of travel, December topped our 2011. We went to Phuket, Thailand with my family and stopped over Singapore. It was definitely a memorable month and a great way to leave the year.
On our first day we shopped at Orchard Road. I checked out H&M, Rubi Shoes, and Cotton On. We had lunch at a hawker center, I tried the ice cream sandwich and shawarma. Then by 3PM, we all went to the airport for our flight to Phuket.
We arrived late at Patong Beach. We had dinner at 9PM and then the next day, we checked out the beach!
After a few days, we transferred to Kata Beach and stayed at Sugar Palm Resort. It was a nice place for family and kids. We all loved the place.

On our last night in Phuket, we watched the Phuket FantaSea Show, which was really amazing!
Then we had dinner buffet at the Golden Kinnaree Restaurant. It was a memorable night for all of us!

During our stop over in Singapore, I didn’t have much time to explore because our flight to Manila was 2 hours away. So what I did? I tried my favorite food in Singapore and shopped a little at Bugis Junction.
Toastbox: Had my all time favorite kaya toast, soft boiled eggs and kopi.
Tori Q: I love their Chicken BBQ and Pork with Asparagus. Not to mention, it’s cheap too!
Famous Amos Cookies: I bought these cookies for the kids but me and Hubby were eating it since Sunday. LOL!
It was a fun December for all us. Even before the trip, we met friends and families to celebrate the holidays. December, 2011 was the most memorable month for me and my family.
Now that 2012 has started, I can’t wait to conquer this year and look forward to more travels in the next few months! (*wink*)
